Senior LevelUHY-US is seeking an Interim Controller to support their finance team. This role involves partnering with finance leadership on key accounting initiatives, performing financial analysis, and providing general accounting support during the engagement period.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with finance leadership to support and advance key accounting and finance initiatives
Assist with project-based work to help the team get caught up on priorities and deliverables
Perform financial analysis and reporting, including portfolio analysis using Excel
Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes as needed
Work within existing accounting and reporting systems and assist with process improvements
Provide general accounting and financial support across the organization during the engagement period
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a Controller or in a senior-level accounting/finance role
Required experience in real estate development and non-profit accounting
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform detailed financial analysis
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Sage; Yardi experience a plus
Ability to work independently, be hands-on, and adapt quickly in a project-based environment
Flexibility to work on-site as needed during the engagement
Preferred
Strong preference for experience with low-income or affordable housing organizations
Exposure to or experience with Solver for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting is a plus
