Responsibilities

Perform Financial Analysis of Consolidated Results and Analyze Balance Sheet Accounts
Perform the consolidated close on a monthly basis
Review and record entries from various finance teams across the globe to ensure accuracy and compliance with global accounting policies
Monitor and review trial balance submissions globally, and educate the business partners to reduce errors and ensure accuracy
Prepare and record necessary consolidating/eliminating entries in order to comply with US GAAP
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
Perform balance sheet and P&L account analysis and follow-up with other departments to address any unusual balances or transactions to assure balance sheet integrity
Participate in various governance meetings on a monthly basis with finance leadership
Prepare and analyze financial reporting packages
Perform Year End Financial Close of Consolidated Results
Assist in the year end consolidated close process and preparation of the consolidated financial statements and footnotes
Consolidate and analyze year end reporting packages from the subsidiaries
Prepare, analyze, and lead presentation of year end accounts, which includes providing recommended adjustments and solutions
Interim and Year-End Audit Support
Address assigned interim and year-end audit requests timely
Coordinate with internal teams on timely completion of audit requests​
Global Filings
Initiate the global filings process with all branches and subsidiaries
Monitor and track the receipt of engagement letters, draft and final financial statements, management representation letters and other correspondence
Collaborate with branches and subsidiaries, as well as local audit firms, to ensure proper documentation is received in a timely manner
Collaborate with the legal department on statutory due dates, engagement letter changes, management representation letter changes and participate in monthly status meetings
Review and reconcile annual financial statements and documents for global statutory filings and work with local teams on resolving any discrepancies, when necessary
Technical Accounting Research
Create/change/update policies and procedures
Research U.S. GAAP treatment as needed
Lease Accounting
Create/change/update policies and procedures
Ensure lease accounting module is providing accurate monthly entries in compliance with ASC 842
Partner with global controller teams to ensure all leases are in the current model
Other
Prepare various government surveys as needed
Other Ad Hoc projects and reporting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Years of accounting experience preferred: 2-5
Strong understanding of US GAAP
CPA (strongly preferred)
SAP ECC or S/4HANA experience (strongly preferred)
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with multi-company and multi-national environment (preferred)
Experience with consolidations
Foreign currency experience (preferred)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple demands and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various levels of management and associates globally
