Responsibilities
Own measurable improvements in equipment reliability, yield, and root cause resolution, ensuring that key reliability KPIs (e.g., MTBF, defect density) consistently meet or exceed defined targets
Sustain a high performing engineering team through regular coaching, development plans, and timely performance reviews, driving measurable gains in skill maturity and retention
Deliver capital and spares budgets on schedule and within cost targets, while championing and closing high impact improvement projects that yield quantifiable cost savings and efficiency gains
Facilitate multi disciplinary Task Forces and technical meetings, generating actionable insights that resolve complex issues and reduce time to resolution for critical failures
Provide concise, data driven updates to senior leadership on reliability status, improvement progress, and strategic risks, directly influencing enterprise wide decision making
Drive the adoption of DMAIC, DOE, and advanced data science tools across the department, measured by increased number of implemented process optimizations and reduced defect rates
Maintain deep subject matter expertise, ensuring accurate interpretation of failure analysis, yield signals, and integration impacts—directly translating into faster root cause identification and fewer repeat failures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or 10 yrs. equivalent work experience
Able to use Microsoft Office software (Expert level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
