Responsibilities
Review CEQA documents and permit applications to support client projects
Manage a subset of permit projects and CEQA projects as necessary to balance workloads
Perform report review to ensure RIPTIDE provides quality products to clients
Assist with RFI's to position RIPTIDE to win work in Ports and elsewhere
Meet with sales teams to help identify strategy and discussion points
Stay informed of legislation and initiatives and notify NV5 leadership of opportunities for work
Strategically attend relevant meetings and conferences
Review and provide feedback on occasional white papers and proposals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Geography/GIS, or related field; Masters preferred
10+ years experience as Environmental Consultant specializing in Port initiatives
Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a project team, and communicating effectively (oral and written)
Ability to work well within a team/hybrid environment
Ability to apply creative solutions and strong problem-solving skills
