Responsibilities

Own and operate all HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance
Lead employee relations, investigations, corrective action, and terminations with sound judgment and documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; manage audits and risk mitigation
Lead recruiting execution and workforce planning across corporate, operational, and seasonal roles
Partner with Finance and Operations on headcount planning and organizational scalability
Own performance management systems, including reviews, feedback frameworks, and performance improvement plans
Train and support managers on people management fundamentals, HR processes, and employee issue resolution
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR and Recruiting team
Establish HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting rhythms for leadership visibility

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and people operations
Experience leading recruiting and HR teams in a growth-oriented organization
Deep understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Proven ability to build and scale HR systems and processes
Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters
Demonstrated ability to coach and support leaders through complex people issues
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office suite
Hands-on leader who is comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels
Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence leaders while enforcing standards
