Sales Development Representative (Canada Remote)

TOOLBX is on a mission to empower independent suppliers across the building materials industry with an integrated commerce platform. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative who will focus on identifying and engaging new potential customers to drive pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct targeted outbound prospecting: cold calling, emailing, and using social media to identify dealership prospects
Engage with inbound leads generated by marketing, qualify interest, and nurture prospects toward demo readiness
Qualify leads based on criteria like fit, interest, and dealership size; book meetings or product demos for Account Executives
Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot—log activity, lead status, and follow-ups. (Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus, but not a necessity.)
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine targeting and outreach messaging
Track and meet KPIs such as number of calls, outreach touches, and qualified meetings booked

Required

1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or SDR/BDR roles
Excellent verbal and written communication—comfortable with cold outreach and follow-ups
Proficient in using CRM tools
Strong research and prospecting skills, with ability to identify decision-makers and personalize engagement
Resilient, goal-driven, and organized, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Curious and coachable; eager to learn industry specifics and refine your sales process

Preferred

Industry knowledge preferred in LBM (Lumber & Building Materials), Plumbing, or distribution
Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus, but not a necessity
