The role focuses on executing procurement activities and sourcing industrial equipment to ensure timely delivery for production needs.

Responsibilities

Support new factory openings and expansions through hands-on procurement execution

Source and purchase tools, equipment, MRO, and other industrial commodities

Manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery coordination

Partner cross-functionally with industrial engineering, operations, and procurement teams

Support supplier engagement, pricing discussions, and order follow-ups

Track order status to ensure timely delivery aligned with production and project timelines

Help resolve supply issues related to availability, lead times, or delivery delays

Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes

Qualification

Required

Hands-on procurement or sourcing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Experience sourcing equipment, tools, MRO, or capital-related commodities

Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams

Solid understanding of industrial purchasing processes and supplier coordination

Comfortable managing multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Excel

Preferred

Experience supporting new factory launches or facility expansions

Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments

Prior experience working with global or large-scale suppliers
