Responsibilities

Reviewing, understanding and designing automation techniques to address a wide range of infrastructure requirements
Understanding of automation for both Infrastructure as Code and cyber hardening/patching
Working closely with software and systems engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and blockers are elevated

Required

5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Principal Linux Systems Architect
8 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Senior Principal Linux Systems Architect
Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application
Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
Extensive experience with Linux Operating System
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Linux environments
Experience operating and managing systems within current applicable information systems cyber compliance standards in closed areas

Preferred

Demonstrated experience in technical judgment
Experience with Linux functions in yum, ldap, ansible (IAC tools), stig implementation, SELinux, kickstart, dns, dhcp, firewalld, log analysis, managing logical volumes, pki, git, RBAC/HBAC
Experience working as part of an Agile development environment
Understanding information technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze high level needs utilizing use cases and relate them to requirements
Experience with VMWare implementation, migration, and maintenance
