Account Executive, Mid-Market Digital Banking
Alkami Technology is a leading cloud-based digital banking solutions provider for financial institutions in the United States. The Account Executive will pursue and work alongside credit unions to improve their digital banking strategy and performance, requiring strong sales and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities
This is a hunter role - you're expected to actively prospect to generate sales opportunities with Community Financial Institutions. Develop strategies tailored to C-level executives goals and objectives leveraging your extended Alkami team to bring these opportunities to close
Develop and execute strategies for quickly developing sales territory
Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel information
Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to convert prospects
Negotiate/close deals and handle objections
Represent Alkami at trade shows and conferences
Travel to meet with prospective customers across the US
Collaborate with the team to achieve better results
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrable success of selling, building winning relationships, and building new business pipelines are essential
High ethical standards and determination to succeed
Communication skills: Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including C-level. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications
5+ years of Sales or Business Development Experience
3+ years of proven experience in either: Enterprise Sales: A history of successfully closing 6-figure+ software or cloud-based solutions to banks and financial institutions, with a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
Consulting: Experience in a consulting role, adept at managing complex conversations with multi-layered stakeholders to drive results, and a track record of developing key client relationships
Ability to travel 25-50%
Experience closing complex deals
Computer skills: Proficient at common office/MS applications and personal computing
Professional Drive: must have a strong sense of urgency and accountability to generate new sales
Technical Knowledge: Ability to articulate examples of learning technical products or solutions
Abstract Reasoning: Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs within the context of our products and services
Preferred
Previous sales experience within the financial technology industry
Experience targeting credit unions and/or banks
