Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and communicate weekly production schedules, considering capacity, material constraints, and demand
Manage assigned NPI and sustaining projects at both strategic and tactical level
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed, to meet evolving demands
Oversee shipment schedules to ensure customer delivery commitments are met
Provide guidance on production capacity, lead times, and volumes to support Sales and Operations, identifying potential capacity bottlenecks that will affect the build plan
Manage work orders generated from the MRP run and ensure they seamlessly get created and communicated to relevant team members
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to resolve supply and demand issues, resolve work order variances and track root cause
Assess current process and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Execute Engineering Change Order ECO implementation requirements
Analyze build schedules, shortage reports, inventory, and supplier delivery information to anticipate and manage potential line shortages
Escalate Potential issues or target misses where necessary to management
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in production planning, master scheduling, materials management, or material planning in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in MS Excel, including the ability to create, maintain, and enhance Excel-based material shortage reports
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand
Skilled at presenting build plan and schedule status effectively in weekly program/executive meetings
Collaborative, open-minded, and team-oriented, with self-motivation and resourcefulness
