PC Technician (Contractor & On-Site)

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for employee IT issues; troubleshoot and resolve computer, application, and peripheral problems
Monitor and resolve Service Desk tickets, calls, and Tier 1 issues with emphasis on speed and minimal downtime
Manage Azure-hosted systems, AD → Azure AD synchronization, password resets, account lockouts, and directory sync issues
Install, configure, patch, and deploy Windows systems; perform hardware/software adds, moves, changes, and upgrades (PCs, monitors, printers, Teams Phones, VoIP, mobiles, peripherals)
Collaborate with Level 2/3 Engineers on Azure, Intune, and Autopilot deployments and solutions
Troubleshoot computers, VoIP telephony, mobile devices, and wireless networks; run diagnostics as needed
Maintain IT equipment inventory, handle archive restores, backups, data protection, and disaster recovery processes
Support Tier 1 server/networking issues; escalate complex problems appropriately
Research and integrate new hardware, software, and automation to meet business needs
Create and maintain ITIL/ITSM-aligned procedures and documentation
Participate in rotating on-call duties and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of relevant college education + minimum 2 years of Service Desk/technical support experience, or equivalent combination
Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Exchange, Office suite, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and Azure services
Exceptional customer service, verbal/written communication, and ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and complete tasks/projects independently or collaboratively
Preferred
Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices preferred

Windows: 3 years (Preferred)
