Community Data Analyst

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data, specifically regarding research between community and academic researchers
Build and promote relationships with and between community and academic researchers
Support community experts in research projects through recruitment, selecting data samples, and developing research instruments
Analyze collected information according to established methods, and develop recommendations based on research findings
Prepare reports, newsletter articles, charts, tables, and other visual aids to analyze, interpret, and communicate data, results, and happenings within the department/team
Plan and coordinate informational sessions to foster shared knowledge between the community and academicians
Qualification
Required
Thorough knowledge of research function
Thorough skills associated with statistical analysis and systems programming
Thorough skills in analysis and consultation
Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
Skills in project management
Research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
3-5 years experience in research
