Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook to promote Awetomaton's brand, products, and company culture
Create engaging content (posts, videos, graphics) highlighting company innovations, community impact, and team stories to boost visibility and engagement
Monitor analytics, track engagement metrics (e.g., reach, impressions, click-through rates), and optimize campaigns to increase follower growth and lead generation
Collaborate with internal teams to align content with business goals, such as event promotions or thought leadership in tech and defense
Manage community interactions, respond to inquiries, and foster positive relationships with followers, partners, and industry influencers
Source and attract top talent for technical roles (e.g., engineers, researchers, interns) through social media, job boards, networking events, and targeted outreach
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience
Utilize recruiting tools (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter) to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Support onboarding and employer branding initiatives to enhance retention and team integration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in social media marketing and/or recruiting, preferably in tech, defense, or startup environments
Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer) and recruiting software (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn)
Strong communication skills, with a creative flair for content and a knack for building relationships
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, with a results-driven mindset and attention to detail
Passion for innovation, defense tech, and fostering a collaborative, pride-filled culture
Local to the Dayton/Beavercreek, OH area
