The Founding Business Development Representative will drive outbound sales, generate leads, and collaborate with sales leadership to establish a scalable BDR function.

Responsibilities
Execute and evolve an existing outbound sales playbook, helping build a scalable BDR function
Create targeted prospect lists and develop thoughtful outbound strategies
Optimize outreach through scripting, sequencing, and A/B testing of messaging
Partner closely with Account Executives to generate qualified meetings and pipeline
Work directly with senior leadership, including the CEO and Sales leadership, to launch and refine the BDR function
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
Adapt quickly and operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Qualification
Required
1+ year of outbound sales experience (BDR, SDR, or similar), ideally selling to SMBs and/or the hospitality industry
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and generate high-quality leads
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve prospecting, outreach, or productivity
Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and iterate quickly
Preferred
Experience selling hospitality, restaurant, or venue-focused technology
Early-stage startup experience or interest in building from the ground up
