Responsibilities

Optimize the SVP’s schedule to reflect strategic priorities; proactively 'gatekeep' and prioritize requests to ensure time is focused on driving impact
Liaise with internal executives, HR community, employees and teams, as well as external candidates and business contacts to establish seamless communication, working across multiple time zones
Orchestrate the rhythm of business for the Talent Team
Ensure meetings have clear objectives, pre-read materials are distributed in advance, and key decisions are tracked and followed up on
Prepare agendas, assist with preparation for accurate presentations and spreadsheets; manage logistics for external presentation engagements
Synthesize complex information into concise briefing notes to prepare for talent reviews
Serve as a project lead for cross-functional Talent initiatives (e.g., Summer Intern program or Onboarding transformation), ensuring seamless execution and alignment across different HR hubs
Act as key point of contact, triaging issues and resolving minor conflicts before they reach the executive level
Monitor and track the progress of the Talent Department’s key performance indicators (KPIs), flagging potential delays or risks to the SVP
Serve as a trusted advisor and 'cultural pulse-taker' for the team, helping the SVP maintain a high level of engagement within the Talent community
Partner with Talent Development & Campus Recruitment teams for onboarding, placements, check-ins, attending presentations, coordinating events throughout summer
Manage talent budget and purchase orders

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years previous administrative experience
Ability to understand L'Oréal's business and how Talent strategy impacts the bottom line
Ability to synthesize complex and at times incomplete information
Ability to influence and guide others across the organization at all levels with a high level of care
Strong judgement and awareness of sensitive and confidential topics
Very strong Microsoft Outlook skills for calendar management
Able to prioritize and organize
Proficient Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Computer Skills
