Qualification
Required
5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Principal VMware Systems Architect
8 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Senior Principal VMware Systems Architect
Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application
Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
Extensive experience with VMware systems
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified VMware environments
Experience operating and managing systems within current applicable information systems cyber compliance standards in closed areas
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in technical judgment
Experience with VMware functions in DRS, HA, Distributed Switches, Aria, RBAC, vSphere, vCenter, stig implementation, host profiles, resource management, log analysis, patching
Experience working as part of an Agile development environment
Understanding information technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze high level needs utilizing use cases and relate them to requirements
Experience with Linux implementation, migration, and maintenance
