Responsibilities

Lead a team within an Interfaces section of the Aerospace Vehicle and Systems Integration (AVSI) Directorate
Provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room (FHR) team of between 8 and 12 Individual Contributors (ICs)
Manage personnel performance, process familiarization, and training for Section members
Spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities and 80% on technical assignments supporting Interfaces teams and various IPTs
Work closely with senior leaders and customers
Develop system architecture, manage requirements, and conduct requirement verification planning
Support system design/analysis, modeling & simulation, and model-based systems engineering
Lead IPT/product owner activities and specialty engineering functions

Required

Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience with a Master's degree in STEM
1+ year of experience with Agile, JIRA, Confluence, DOORS or Cameo
1+ year of experience in development and maintenance of Interface Control Modules
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years

Preferred

Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
7+ years of experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment
Advanced degree in engineering
1+ year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
Active DOD Top Secret clearance, SAP, and/or SCI access
2+ years' experience leading teams in a functional, programmatic or technical capacity
1+ year experience creating program governance
3+ years' experience using CAD software (Siemens NX, Solid Edge, Solid Works, Pro/E etc)
Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering and Integration and Test processes on the Sentinel Program with emphasis on interfaces
