The Founding Engineer will be the first technical hire, responsible for building the core AI integration agents and working directly with the founder to define the product architecture and features.

Responsibilities
Own the full product stack: TypeScript/Node, React, PostgreSQL, AWS/Vercel, and internal tooling
Build core agentic systems: autonomous system mapping, retries, queues, monitoring, and exception pipelines
Design, implement, and scale LLM pipelines and orchestration flows
Work directly with the founder on architecture, UX, and customer needs
Jump into whatever moves the product forward — integrations, infra, agents, or ops
Take problems from ambiguity to production without waiting for perfect specs
Qualification
Required
3–8 years experience or exceptional 0→1 projects that prove you're dangerous
Work fast, take extreme ownership, and thrive in ambiguity
Move comfortably between frontend, backend, infra, and LLM tooling
Prefer shipping over debating; progress over perfection
Communicate clearly and always close the loop
Want to build in-person in San Francisco with a tight, high-velocity team
