STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: IDENTIFY AND ENGAGE WITH CORPORATE, NONPROFIT, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO ESTABLISH NEW COLLABORATIONS THAT SUPPORT AGENCY PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
REVENUE GENERATION: DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO SECURE SPONSORSHIPS, GRANTS, AND CONTRACTS TO MEET FUNDRAISING GOALS, PARTICULARLY FOR THE AGENCY’S MAJOR EVENTS LIKE BLACK MEN’S WELLNESS DAY, UPLIFT HER, AND OTHER INITIATIVES
NETWORKING & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING SPONSORS, COMMUNITY LEADERS, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, AND HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS TO ADVANCE THE MISSION OF THE AGENCY
PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT: DRAFT AND SUBMIT PROPOSALS TO POTENTIAL PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, SHOWCASING THE AGENCY’S PROGRAMS AND THE VALUE OF PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
MARKET RESEARCH: CONDUCT MARKET ANALYSIS TO IDENTIFY TRENDS, COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES, AND POTENTIAL NEW MARKETS OR OPPORTUNITIES FOR AGENCY EXPANSION
REPORTING & METRICS: TRACK AND REPORT ON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PIPELINE MANAGEMENT, REVENUE GROWTH, AND PARTNERSHIP ENGAGEMENT
Qualification
Required
BACHELOR'S DEGREE PREFERRED
3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SALES, FUNDRAISING, OR A RELATED FIELD, IDEALLY WITHIN A NONPROFIT OR HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT
PROVEN ABILITY TO SECURE SPONSORSHIPS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND GRANT FUNDING
STRONG NEGOTIATION, COMMUNICATION, AND PRESENTATION SKILLS
ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND COLLABORATIVELY IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT
PASSION FOR IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITIES
PROFICIENCY IN CRM SOFTWARE, MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE, AND DATA ANALYTICS TOOLS
ABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL FOR MEETINGS WITH PROSPECTIVE AND EXISTING CLIENTS
