The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking a Data Collection Specialist (Research Analyst 2) to support an HIV health study. In this role, you will conduct essential activities including recruiting and interviewing study participants, abstracting data from medical records, and ensuring accurate data collection and cleaning to guide public health interventions.

Responsibilities

Conduct essential day-to-day activities that strengthen HIV surveillance efforts
Recruiting and interviewing study participants
Abstracting data from medical records
Ensuring accurate data collection and cleaning

Qualification

Required

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures
Three years' experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1
Two years' experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data

Preferred

Bilingual Spanish/English is highly desired
Experience recruiting participants for a study via mail, telephone, text, and email
Experience maintaining and updating participant databases
Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating language interpreters when needed
Experience conducting confidential interviews
Experience obtaining informed consent from participants
Experience linking participants to medical care or ancillary services as needed
Experience creating, promoting, welcoming, and maintaining a culturally competent and diverse work environment
