Responsibilities
Help make the technologies, products and services that make a difference
Provide support for verification of an application suite hosted within a collaborative engineering environment
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system functionality and performance meet expectations
Assist in the development and execution of test procedures, troubleshooting application defects, and documenting findings on Jira
Execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle
Assist in the generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
Develop test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
Develop functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
Design, develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing
Develop and implement automated testing to the greatest extent possible
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field
Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
Preferred
Experience with automated testing frameworks as well as Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripting languages
