This junior, on-site role is designed for someone early in their construction career who wants to learn how to run residential jobs from the ground up under experienced leadership.
Construction
Responsibilities
Work on-site daily, supporting active residential construction projects
Assist with coordinating trades (framing, MEP, exterior, and interior finishes)
Help prepare for and walk City of Houston inspections
Learn to read plans, details, and scopes of work
Support schedules and look-ahead planning
Help keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
Track progress with photos, notes, and punch lists
Communicate professionally with subcontractors and inspectors
Learn how projects move from slab to final turnover
Qualification
Required
Entry-level to junior experience in residential construction (foreman, lead carpenter, field assistant, or similar)
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and reliability
Comfortable working outside on active jobsites
Interest in growing into a Superintendent role
Must be able to work on-site in Houston (not remote)
Preferred
Basic understanding of residential construction sequencing is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, not required
