Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) Adjunct Faculty Pool

They are seeking qualified instructors to join the adjunct faculty pool for the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program, responsible for teaching courses and supporting student development in various modalities.

Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses, including class preparation, instruction, grading, and office hours
Deliver curriculum for courses such as counseling techniques, ethical issues, substance abuse, or human development
Grade assignments, provide timely feedback, and mentor students regarding professional development
Prepare lectures, class activities, and update course materials to meet accreditation standards
Provide additional academic support to students as needed
Foster a classroom environment that supports inclusivity, engagement, and growth
Learn and utilize the learning management systems of Canvas and Colleague
Continuously review and improve teaching materials and methodologies
Participate in ongoing professional development and assessment activities
Comply with all university policies, procedures, and expectations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director. Course modalities, schedules, and assignments are determined by the department in collaboration with the adjunct professor
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field
Current professional licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) preferred
Personal relationship with Jesus, a vibrant Christian faith, and a commitment to Christian community; capable of sharing faith and engaging in conversations about Christ

Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area
