Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions
Partner with People Partners and Employment Counsel to assess risk, ensure consistent practices, and guide sensitive employee matters
Mediate and resolve employee disputes, providing guidance and support to both employees and management
Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards
Promote a culture of open communication by facilitating employee feedback sessions and engagement initiatives
Conduct training sessions on conflict resolution, communication skills, and performance management for staff and management
Work closely with HR team members to support talent management, performance reviews, and organizational development
Prepare reports on employee relations trends and issues, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years specializing in employee relations or workplace investigations in the US
Strong investigative interviewing, analytical, and fact-finding skills
Deep understanding of US employment law and compliance requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clear, defensible investigation reports and the ability to influence stakeholders and functions
Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
