MANAGER - SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- Miami Area

Responsibilities
Identify and win local business opportunities
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop optimum region results
Allocation of sales personnel to ensure achievement of company sales and profit goals
Coordinate sales activities by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
Advises customers and sales representatives concerning sales and marketing programs and works to ensure their success
Identify and closely direct the pipeline of work with major customers and projects
Other duties may be assigned
Manages subordinates and employees in the Sales Department
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the local market
Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated successful relevant sales management experience
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and skills
Experience in the building materials, woodworking, and/or construction industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Negotiation and presentation skills
Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of sales processes
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Ability to organize and maximize information on sales opportunities, leads and integrate this information into the strategic sales plan
