Responsibilities
Support a broad array of use cases in the advancement of industrial modular engineering topics including CAD/CAM/SIM functions as well as Automation programming, and industrial networking
Develop and deliver hands on demonstration and training programs and workshops to educate customers on the effective use of Siemens Industrial technology
Stay updated on the latest advancements in Siemens technology and its components, including software, server technologies, field devices motors, drives, numeric controllers, power management devices, and cabling
Create and curate a comprehensive library of knowledge base articles to empower customers and reduce the need for direct support
Assist customers navigate various third party challenges to instantiate project deployments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an ABET Certified Engineering program in Electronics or Mechatronics engineering (Mechanical may be accepted depending on relevant work experience)
Proven experience (8+ years) in relevant engineering, with a strong focus on motion control technologies, complex system design, and mixed control engineering (PLM, MBSE, SE)
Ability to travel up to 30%
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred
Masters Degree in ABET accredited Engineering Discipline
Preferred experience of 10+ years
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders (Internal and External) at all levels
Preferred experience with enterprise network architectures as it relates to industrial settings. DCS, SCADA, VLANs, VMs, IT/OT APIs
