Responsibilities
Executing system scans using ACAS, evaluate STIG (e-STIG), Blackduck, Coverity
Overseeing Trellix Endpoint Security product installations
Analyzing findings against DoD Cyber Security compliance standards and making recommendations
Qualification
Required
Level 2 - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of relative experience; Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 0+ years of relative experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of relative experience; Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of relative experience; PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience
Active Secret security clearance
Willingness and ability to work onsite full-time
Experience in DoD Cybersecurity Efforts – Culture/Awareness, Offensive Operations, Defensive Operations, Antivirus Scans, IAVMs
Has served at least 180 days on active duty
Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
Will receive an honorable discharge
Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship
Preferred
Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Linux operating systems
Experience with high performance numerical/scientific computing, parallel computing
Experience in ISSO/ISSM roles
Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum and DevSecOps
CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent
