Lifetouch, part of the Shutterfly family of brands, is a company that has captured the unique personalities of children and families for 90 years. They are seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead integrated brand and campaign development across their ecommerce brands, guiding a creative team in executing high-impact marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
Lead work to deliver creative guidance, campaign concept and execution for new product launches, big brand moments or marketing campaigns
Champion and lead the future of our Brand expression through content and social media
Lead continued development of our Brand tone of voice and writing guidelines with your Copy Manager and writing team
Ensure that creative work is compelling, consistent, adheres to brand standards, and accomplishes revenue, customer retention and customer acquisition goals
Radically partner with internal marketing and ecommerce clients to deliver results for the business through collaboration and creative leadership
Provide creative leadership and proactive coaching for your team to ensure their success and professional development
Proactively identify and help lead transformational efforts with your creative leadership peers in operations and photography, continuously improving how we support and enhance work across our brands
Be prepared to take on delegated tasks and represent the whole department internally and externally
Continuously recruit and retain top and diverse talent for our growing team
Be a champion and sponsor of under-represented creatives internally and externally
Supervisory responsibilities: Manages a team of 10-15 direct and indirect reports, charged with maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring these creatives maintain continuity of concept through execution. This role will oversee our centralized copywriting function, experience in writing and leading writers is preferred
Qualification
Required
10+ years of industry experience in retail or ecommerce with a minimum of 5-6 years managing direct and indirect reports
Retail / e-commerce experience a must, with a high-volume project load (1,000+/year)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels, including senior leadership
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work seamlessly across functions and teams
Highly strategic problem solver with a proactive, solutions oriented mindset
Strong business acumen paired with a commitment to creative excellence
Deep awareness of emerging trends in marketing, design, technology, and social media
Demonstrated ability to leverage tools, systems, and technology to enhance efficiency and creative output
Strong aesthetic sensibility aligned with the brand
Confident yet low ego leadership style grounded in accountability, humility, and drive
Ability to make strong, thoughtful decisions that support both creative integrity and business results
Adaptability, resilience, and comfort operating within an evolving and sometimes ambiguous business environment
Positive, professional presence with the ability to maintain enthusiasm and perspective
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Advertising or Journalism is highly preferred, but will accept additional experience in lieu of formal education
Experience in writing and leading writers is preferred
