Responsibilities
Support engineering activities by performing detailed characterization of electronic components
Assemble prototype electro-mechanical systems for new product development and evaluation
Conduct comprehensive electrical and thermal testing on current sensor products to validate performance and reliability
Manage the day-to-day operations of the high-voltage isolation test lab, including equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
Coordinate the backlog of high-voltage insulation test requests to ensure timely completion
Perform, set up, and monitor high-voltage testing according to established procedures
Analyze test data and contribute to the creation of detailed technical test reports
Troubleshoot simple circuit problems independently to maintain workflow and support engineering objectives
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with a variety of electrical test equipment, including digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies
Demonstrated experience with high-voltage test equipment and safety protocols
Strong ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documents
Proven ability to perform detailed testing based on written and verbal instructions
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for simple circuits
Preferred
Familiarity with the MATLAB environment, specifically the ability to make edits to equipment control software
Experience with simple Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout and design
Experience in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment
