Director of Social Media and Digital Marketing
American Paint and BPH Hospitality are seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Social Media and Digital Marketing to lead content and promotional efforts across their retail, hospitality, and event-driven brands in Nashville, TN. The role involves developing social media strategies, managing content creation, and enhancing brand engagement through various digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage social media content calendars across multiple brands, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand content
Coordinate and oversee content shoots including photos, videos, and promotional materials highlighting products, venues, experiences, and events
Creatively direct marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand identity and customer engagement
Perform basic website updates to keep information current and user-friendly (copy updates, menus, layouts, photos/videos, product or event info)
Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Premiere for graphic design, content creation, and editing
Implement social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand loyalty
Create, develop, and distribute email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking to improve open and clickthrough rates
Monitor social media trends, pop culture, tools, and applications and apply insights to brand strategy
Collaborate with leadership and management teams to develop promotional strategies and marketing plans
Analyze and report on campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations
Attend on-site and off-site events, pop-ups, private parties, and activations to capture and publish timely content
Manage community engagement and crisis response across comments, DMs, and reviews
Apply SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and traffic (bonus)
Create and manage digital advertisements to drive awareness and patronage (bonus)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
3+ years of experience in social media and/or digital marketing management, preferably in retail, fashion, hospitality, or events
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and visual storytelling
Ability to manage multiple projects, brands, and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred
Knowledge of SEO and digital ad creation is a plus
