Responsibilities
Analyze existing Unix/Linux infrastructure environments across multiple data centers
Develop a execution plan for system migrations and decommissioning
Plan and support VM migrations and infrastructure consolidation efforts
Assess and document storage platforms (NAS/SAN; cloud object storage a plus)
Partner with network, application, and cloud teams to align migration strategies
Track milestones and deliverables using Agile/Jira methodologies
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Unix and Linux systems engineering
Proven background in data center decommissioning or infrastructure consolidation
Deep understanding of virtualization technologies and VM migration strategies
Solid knowledge of NAS/SAN storage architectures
Experience building and executing infrastructure roadmaps for large environments
Exposure to AWS S3 or ECS
Experience in large enterprise or financial services environments
