Director, Creative Strategy
Dentsu is a global agency that harnesses the power of sports and entertainment for brands. They are seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to lead the development of integrated strategies and storytelling for clients, primarily focused on sponsorship in the sports space.

Responsibilities
Lead development of sponsorship and integrated strategies for our clients to help them drive measurable business results – including creative platform development, communication framework development, activation concept development that scale across channels, and touchpoints (social and IRL activations)
Lead new business pursuits with compelling storytelling, C-level presentations, and impactful pitch materials. strategic upfront, creative ideation
Building brand playbooks (voice, tone, creative applications) to ensure campaigns are clear, consistent, and scalable
Manage growing team of creative strategists as well as key agency stakeholders (creative team, social team, consulting team)
Oversee department operations – revenue tracking, team task management & briefing, expense management, etc
Develop company quarterly trend report & category specific thought leadership / trend reports for clients
Main point of contact with our analytics team on the latest trends, reports, studies on how to strategically use proprietary information to best support client business and also how research can best differentiate our agency amongst competitors
Qualification
Required
8-10 years of experience in creative strategy
Self-directed - Thrives in ambiguous environments and independently defines priorities and solutions
Natural Leader - You are an experienced leader and thrive on collaboration and developing a team of future leaders
Culturally Aware - Always living at the intersection of brands, culture, and creativity. Sports passion / experience is a plus
Strategic Communicator – Exceptional analytical, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills with ability to link insights to strategy and translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications
Deeply Curious – You have a passion for discovering insights and solving consumer problems in engaging ways and a strong ability to synthesize data into a clear and informative format
Skilled writer with the ability to craft bold narratives and complex insights
Credible C-level presenter in new business pursuits
Ability to build impactful internal decks as well as global brand campaigns
Agency experience is preferred
Experience in client sponsorship in the sports space
