Responsibilities

Create localized career pathway tracks in green trades that include schools, work-based learning programs, and employers
Conduct targeted outreach and recruitment efforts, including presentations at schools, events, and partner organizations, to promote awareness of green trade career opportunities
Provide career coaching and job readiness support to individuals interested in entering the green trades
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, training providers, and community partners to understand workforce needs and identify opportunities
Organize workshops, job fairs, and networking events to help connect job seekers with employers
Ensure compliance with all grant-related performance and reporting requirements, including monitoring performance metrics such as training completions, credential attainment, job placement, and retention outcomes
Keep current on green sector trends, local labor market needs, and emerging opportunities
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant activities, services, and outcomes in workforce systems
Work flexible hours and travel between Adams County Workforce & Business Center locations (Westminster, Brighton, and North Aurora) as required
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Demonstrated initiative to identify both internal and external customer needs and maintain a high level of productivity and self-direction
Ability to proactively engage in outreach and participant recruitment
Demonstrated ability with PCs, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
Working knowledge of career assessments, guidance, and job search methods
Strong planning and organizational skills, including time management and prioritization
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgment and decision-making consistent with program and agency goals, laws, regulations, and policies
Ability to interact professionally, responsibly, and inclusively with diverse populations and individuals with barriers to employment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Counseling, Workforce Development, Environmental Studies, or a related field
Equivalent experience can replace the required education on a year-by-year basis
Do you currently possess a valid Colorado driver's license, or are you able to obtain one within 30 business days of hire?
Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred

Experience in an employment center or similar professional work environment is highly desirable
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
Relevant experience includes work in: Workforce Development, Career coaching, Training, Vocational education, Teaching, Talent acquisition or related settings, Working within a green trade
