Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to streamline workflows and resolve payroll‑related issues
Supervise payroll staff and support their ongoing development
Review union contracts to ensure proper interpretation and payroll execution
Maintain payroll records, reporting, and audits with a focus on compliance
Analyze payroll data and provide insights for process improvements
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong understanding of union contracts and collective bargaining payroll requirements
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with payroll systems and related HR/Finance platforms
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
