Responsibilities
Act in a Specialist capacity as a program and project manager of the Vegetation Management Program for the District 6 Division of Maintenance
Prepare the District Vegetation Management Plan (VMP), including a geospatial interactive map and accompanying report that discloses the HQ MTCE methodology and data used to identify priorities for vegetation management activities, contracts, grants, and locations for work by other agencies by agreement
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid license as a Professional Landscape Architect issued by the State of California is required
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing
Describe your experience designing landscape projects, including preparation of plans and specifications
Describe your experience working with internal and external partners, including regulatory agencies, local agencies, and elected officials
Describe your experience as a project manager, including managing scope, schedule, and budget
Describe your oral and written communication experience, including presentations
Describe an example of innovation or improved efficiency and the results achieved
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
