Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities
Lead requirements discovery with customers and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements
Review and analyze RFP requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and product capabilities
Gather and synthesize input from various sources to inform upcoming changes and enhancements to the software platform
Develop a strong understanding of the platform, product features, and the needs of user communities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product enhancements
Participate in and/or lead design sessions with designers, software engineers, and quality assurance analysts
Independently configure and deliver solutions using the low-code platform
Configure and maintain workflows, data models, business rules, and user experiences with an understanding of downstream impacts
Troubleshoot and debug system errors and implement solutions to resolve them
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3-4 years of hands-on experience independently delivering business analysis and system configuration work in a production environment
Confidently challenge assumptions and recommend alternative solutions
Translate ambiguous business needs into concrete, testable requirements
Facilitate discussions with minimal direction
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Comfortable working under pressure or strict deadlines
Self-starter with a high degree of integrity and professionalism
Familiarity with agile methodologies and product delivery principles
Knowledge of user story creation and backlog management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with business analysis tools
Preferred
Experience with software development projects
Experience working with low code platforms and workflow automation (MS Power Apps / Logic Apps is a plus)
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar agile tools
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong customer service orientation and experience working directly with customers
Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
