Office Clerk
BlueLinx Corporation is seeking a dependable and detail‑driven Office Clerk to support their accounting team in Clackamas. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, performing data entry, and providing general office support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities
Enter and process daily invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
Review pricing, dates, discounts, and account coding to ensure correct billing
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and print checks and process payments
Allocate and process freight bills
Support annual 1099 documentation requirements
Prepare and process customer invoices
Post incoming payments (checks, credit cards, ACH)
Monitor aging reports and follow up on past‑due accounts
Communicate with customers about balances when needed
Assist with month‑end close and year‑end audit documentation
Perform high‑volume, highly accurate data entry
Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of financial records
Organize and file documents (both electronic and paper)
Monitor office supplies and help keep the office running smoothly
Provide general front‑office support, including phone coverage
Qualification
Required
Experience in administrative work, data entry, or entry‑level accounting
Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent 10‑key and typing accuracy
High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
Clear communication skills—written and verbal
Confidence with basic math and the ability to problem-solve
A positive, team‑focused attitude
