Logistics Analyst
American Sugar Refining, Inc. is a fully integrated cane sugar company that regeneratively farms sugarcane and rice in South Florida. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for managing freight payment initiatives across the US, Canada, and the UK, ensuring accuracy in reporting and resolving discrepancies while supporting supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
Run routine reports and correct US/CA discrepancies and report UK issues to the UK Team for resolution and follow-up, Daily/Weekly/Monthly
Correct Integration errors occurring between SAP and TMS (E2Open) for UK and MX
Analyze Aging Reports for US/CA/UK Carriers, report issues to UK/CA teams for resolution, correct US issues
Convert carriers currently on manual invoice payment to ERS (UK)
Run Month End Reports to ensure all costs are captured prior to closing
SME on UK transportation spend and best practices
Perform mass rerates due to fuel surcharge weekly updates to ensure proper payment to carriers
Maintain the ZFI40 GL table in SAP ensuring proper payment posting
Initiate Claims that occur due to issues with carrier partners
Process claims in E2Open through completion and collection
Communicate with carriers and stakeholders
Report weekly on Claim Status
Attend Fisma training on gov’t website and ensure to keep up with changes
Lead analysis and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement of freight metrics such as accessorial, customer charge backs, and aged reports
Support the Supply Chain business as needed in transportation functions, ad hoc capacity analysis and TMS support and training
Prepare and update critical reports and templates
Coordinate activities related to data clean-up / correction
Develop mastery in key systems to develop new analytical capabilities and improve efficiency and effort of current reports. Continue to build equity as a key resource for analytical skills in the organization
Achieve Super User status in key analytical tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud/ Analysis for Office
Ensure requests for documentation are handled by appropriate areas when requested by internal and external auditors
Back up Freight Pay Coordinator
Back up International Freight Lead
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive optimum business solutions
Support the Supply Chain team in ad hoc requests and tasks as well as order to cash process
Achieve Super User status in key operational tools such as E2Open TMS, SAP, and Visibility Tracking Provider
Project management responsibilities for corporate Supply Chain projects as needed. (e.g., Critical path to Inbound, Advance Optimization, Ocean/Rail Implementations, ERS implementation for EU, Yard Management, etc.)
Function as Freight Settlement subject matter expert for IT / Business Process projects, acquisitions, integrations, etc. including Acceptance and Regression testing for SAP upgrades, updates, and changes
