The role focuses on designing, developing, optimizing, and managing Workday reports while collaborating with implementation teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Own and manage all reporting-related project activities, including maintaining the report inventory
Partner with the implementation team to gather, define, and coordinate reporting requirements for custom reports (simple to complex)
Design, develop, and modify Workday Simple, Advanced, and Matrix reports
Troubleshoot and resolve report-related issues in a timely manner
Analyze and optimize report performance
Test reports against defined requirements and validate data accuracy
Coordinate unit testing and end-to-end testing with client functional SMEs
Track reporting workstream progress using Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint
Maintain detailed documentation to meet internal and external audit/control requirements
Collaborate with reporting leads and project resources to deliver assigned reports
Support knowledge transfer to functional teams as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of overall professional experience
Strong hands-on experience as a Workday Report Developer
Proven expertise building: Simple Reports, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports
Experience coordinating with cross-functional partners for report specification and requirement gathering
Strong experience with data mapping and report validation
Intermediate to strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of SQL
Experience analyzing large datasets for reporting accuracy and performance
Experience working within implementation or transformation projects
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
Strong understanding of testing processes and defect resolution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
Self-motivated team player with strong prioritization and ownership mindset
