Engineering Planner

They are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Planner to support planning, scheduling, and resource management for complex defense projects, ensuring program timelines and budgets align with objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project for missile defense programs
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate task sequencing, resource allocation, and milestone tracking
Monitor schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
Prepare and present schedule status reports to program leadership and stakeholders
Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and compliance with DoD planning standards
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to align schedules with technical requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in program planning within the defense or aerospace industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and scheduling best practices
Strong understanding of missile defense systems and DoD acquisition processes
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Plan/Schedule (IMP/IMS)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Direct experience with cruise missile or similar weapon development and production
Familiarity with defense industry business and language
Familiarity with Cameo for MBSE efforts
