Regulatory Accountant (FERC)
CFS is a stable, well-capitalized energy infrastructure company seeking a Regulatory Accountant with FERC experience. The role involves preparing regulatory and financial reports, supporting FERC filings, and driving process improvements within the accounting team.

Responsibilities
Prepare assigned rate case cost of service schedules and respond to subsequent data requests
Support quarterly and annual FERC filings for regulated midstream entities
Prepare monthly recurring and adjusting FERC ledger entries
Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve identified issues timely
Provide key data to the U.S. Planning & Cost Accounting group for budgeting and forecasting
Deliver financial information to the Income & Property Tax teams
Respond to requests from external auditors and Internal Audit
Identify and execute process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
Support special projects and provide cross-training/back-up for team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting
Experience with regulated accounting, FERC reporting, or energy/midstream strongly preferred
Strong reconciliation, journal entry, and financial analysis experience
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and compliance requirements
Excel proficiency; SAP/Workiva
