DWDAL Budget Specialist AGENCY BUDGET SPECIALIST II
The State of Maryland is seeking an Agency Budget Specialist II to join the Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning's Fiscal Team in Downtown Baltimore. The role involves retrieving, preparing, and reconciling fiscal data for financial reports and budget management across the division's programs and offices.

Responsibilities
Retrieve, convert, scrub, prepare and store for reporting, invoicing, review, budgeting and projections
Prepare financial reports and closeouts
Prepare monthly requests and quarterly invoices
Review monthly files for accuracy and trends
Prepare budget requests as needed
Perform ad hoc assignments as needed
Qualification
Required
Seven years of experience in budget preparation, presentation and execution
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in budget preparation, presentation and execution for the required experience
Graduate education from an accredited college or university in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration at a rate of 30 credit hours for five years of required experience
U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in the Budget Officer classifications or Financial Management specialty codes in the Budgeting field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience

Advanced excel skills
Experience with FARS and FMIS
Experience with policy and procedure implementation
Experience with FMIS requisitions and purchase order
