Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of warehouse and pre-production operations
Own inventory accuracy, stock levels, audits, and reporting (inbound/outbound)
Supervise, coach, train, and develop full-time and part-time warehouse staff
Create, revise, and enforce SOPs and distribution protocols
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals are met
Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and audit-ready warehouse environment
Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and materials handling requirements
Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and discrepancy resolution
Coordinate with Operations leadership to improve DC metrics and financial performance
Ensure proper maintenance and preventive scheduling of material handling equipment
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Recommend expenses and capital investments to the Director of Operations
Interact with customers as needed to resolve delivery or order issues
Food safety responsibilities are an essential function of this role

Required

5+ years of warehouse operations, logistics, or related experience
Certified forklift operator/trainer (required or ability to obtain)
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee engagement skills
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities
Proven ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement
Experience managing inventory variances, transfers, and root cause analysis
Proficiency with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety regulations
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Preferred

2-4 years of supervisory or people management experience
Ability to obtain ASCM, CPIM, or related certifications
