Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
Ensure the functionality, safety, and appearance of all systems and facilities
Manage and supervise the maintenance team
Conduct inspections, scheduling and performing repairs
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction and efficient facility management

Required

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance
Supervisory and team management skills to lead maintenance staff effectively, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Proven ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and address emergency repairs promptly
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
Understanding of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and cost control measures
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a technical degree is a plus

Preferred

Relevant certifications or licenses in areas such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are preferred
Previous experience in a hospitality or facilities management environment is an advantage
