Sr Principal Engineer Reliability
Northrop Grumman is a leading company in technological advancements, seeking a Sr. Principal Reliability Engineer to join their Network Operations, Sustainment, Support and Modernization (N-OSSM) Operating Unit in San Diego, CA. This role involves providing reliability expertise, participating in engineering reviews, and liaising with other programs to ensure best practices in reliability engineering.

Responsibilities
As a Reliability Engineer, you will provide reliability subject matter expert advice on assigned programs
Participate in reliability engineering reviews
Liaison with other reliability engineers and programs to ensure best practice and share knowledge
Provide advice to Systems Engineers regarding their responsibilities in accordance with the Reliability Program
Conduct independent reliability analysis as deemed necessary
Ability to work across multiple disciplines
Qualification
Required
8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, FRACAS, FMEA/FMECA or related Reliability Engineering work
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
Must have the ability to obtain SAP security clearance
Preferred
Practical hands-on experience performing: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, FRACAS, ESS, Reliability Testing, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA/FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, sparing analysis, and related engineering work
Experience with Life Cycle Cost Analysis and Modeling
Experience in completing detailed risk analysis
Experience in completing Basis of Estimates (BOE)
Current active DoD Secret Clearance
Current Active SAP security clearance
