Territory Sales Manager

They are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to maximize sales of Corning Optical Communications products within Indiana and Kentucky, working with various stakeholders to execute a territory sales plan.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales budget for all fiber optic products
Through regular sales calls, generate preference for Corning products
Ensure a balanced mix of sales call to end users, contractors, distributors, and consultants
Manage NPI contractor program and Consultant Program in territory
Coordinate joint sales calls with distributor representatives to maximize sales
Provide ongoing training to distributors and contractors
Timely documentation of meetings and maintain project pipeline in Salesforce.com
Operate within assigned expense and promotional item budgets
Effectively work from home office and conduct sales meetings 4 days/week
Maintain proficiency in the use of the personal computer through Salesforce.com, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Required

Valid driver's license, travel throughout Indiana & Kentucky

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Sales and/or Marketing experience preferred
Familiarity with selling through distribution
Preferred location: Indianapolis, IN
