Responsibilities
Help develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for facility systems and operations
Conduct time studies, process mapping, and workflow analyses
Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Assist with maintenance and improvement projects for building systems
Support ongoing facility upgrades and modifications, including drawing updates and documentation
Create and maintain Spare parts inventory in the Regulatory Asset Management system
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for facility issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to execute projects successfully
Qualification
Required
Rising junior or senior undergrad that is currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of technical drawings and documentation
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Exposure to manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments is a plus
Ability to work in a facility or manufacturing environment
Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the facility as needed
Ability to follow safety requirements and wear PPE when required
