Responsibilities
Execute the GTM release strategy for Oracle Database, ensuring alignment with broader product and business goals
Lead and execute various programs, including Database Hands-on Workshops, LiveLabs DB Approval Council, Technical Enablement initiatives, and Oracle Blog authoring/strategy
Meet with customers to help solve their business challenges using Oracle Database technologies
Lead the creation of in-depth competitive analyses that highlight Oracle Database’s strengths compared to key competitors
Develop compelling competitive materials, including presentations, white papers, case studies, and battle cards, tailored for various customer segments and use cases
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position Oracle Database against competitors
Develop technical strategies and solve complex problems for cross-platform solutions centered around Oracle Database, including Go-To-Market and Technical Enablement for customers and Oracle internal audiences
Author cross-solution workshops in the Oracle LiveLabs platform for multiple data management-related offerings, including migration, cloud, licensing, and hybrid cloud configurations
Lead and execute special events representing the Database Product Management organization (e.g., Hackathons, Major Oracle OpenWorld style events, DevLive, etc.)
Mentor a team of junior product managers and content creators, providing guidance on best practices, content strategy, and product positioning
Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Database, supporting the needs of various regions and organizations, including marketing, field teams, partners, and customers
Lead the Database Approval Council for the Oracle Workshop Management System, ensuring the highest standards for workshop content and delivery
Write and approve blogs for the Oracle Blog platform, contributing to the thought leadership and visibility of Oracle Database
Assist in the development of key initiatives, infrastructure, and programs to enable our customers and technical sellers to work smarter and gain direct access to Oracle's Database technology
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success as a Principal or Senior Product Manager / Technical Program Leader delivering enterprise-scale initiatives
Deep expertise in Oracle Database, with strong understanding of its role in AI, analytics, and intelligent application architectures
Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces, defining strategy and execution without prescriptive direction
Experience leading GTM and technical enablement for complex, multi-product enterprise portfolios, including AI-driven capabilities
Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI and data concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
Recognized ability to influence across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Field organizations without direct authority
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or related technical roles
10+ years in product management, technical enablement, sales engineering, or comparable customer-facing technical leadership roles
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts relevant to enterprise platforms, including embeddings, vector search, RAG patterns, and AI governance
Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the technology or software industry, with a strong focus on database technologies
Deep understanding of Oracle Database and competitive landscape, with experience in creating and managing competitive materials
Experience in executing Go-To-Market strategies and leading technical enablement programs
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing and developing junior team members
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and regions, driving alignment and ensuring successful execution of initiatives
BS or MS degree Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
10 or more years of software engineering or related experience
10 or more years in sales engineering or similar sales roles

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
