Responsibilities

Performs physical receiving, storage, deliveries and processing general merchandise, text & trade, fulfillment, warehousing and mailroom services ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Processes paperwork and ensures appropriate record keeping
Performs opening/closing of the loading dock
Participates in physical inventories
Hires, trains, schedules, evaluates and counsels staff in all activities
Assists in the processing/distribution of mail
Assists in other areas of the Division and performs special assignments
Hours may include evenings/weekends and overtime during peak periods

Required

1+ years management experience in a high volume, automated receiving/distribution department, preferably in a retail environment
Effective handling of multiple priorities/deadlines
Accuracy in calculating numbers
PC/data entry proficiency
Effective interface with diverse groups/individuals
Effective supervisory skills
Previous experience with NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning or similar with understanding of inventory controls systems
Employment is contingent on the maintenance of a valid CA driver's license and good driving record, as defined by the DMV and ASUCLA
BA/BS required or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Requires lifting of up to 70 lbs, frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, gripping, and climbing of ladders
Fingerprinting Background Verification required
