Responsibilities
Screening, evaluating, and recommending new account prospects that are expected to provide a significant financial and/or strategic benefit to Progressive within 3-5 years
Building strong relationships in the industry and meeting with potential accounts to market Progressive’s products and services
Partnering with multi-line sales reps in the Eastern region
Qualification
Required
A minimum of eight years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
OR Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience
This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policy
This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Preferred
Experience in managing large, complex accounts and knowledge of commercial products and services
Proficient in consultative sales process and strategic selling skills
Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals
Strong skills in building business relationships
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up on open items
